Sometimes we need imagery stimulation. A theme, an idea that will help us trigger our emotions. For this exercise imagine a harvest of your emotions. It’s like the old saying: you reap what you sow.

1. Choose a fruit, vegetable, flower or tree you like.

2. Think about the fruit you chose. Which colours represent it? Do the colours change when it is raw or ripe?

3. Paint your harvest. Each replica represents an emotion. Represent your emotions with colours, patterns, shapes.

I did my harvest with radish. The colours are strong, the leaves can be of different greens. The rounded shape can change. That is the way I feel sometimes. Excited with a strong red colour, frustrated or gloomy exploding with different greens.

My harvest, my own production of feelings.
